Rarely hungry

I have noticed that I am rarely hungry. I am the type of person who has always eaten 3 meals a day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. No snacks ever. I know a lot of people prefer to eat 4-6 mini meals instead of 3 larger ones. I've tried this and it didn't make any difference to me but was extremely inconvenient. So for now I stick with my 3 meals and only eat a snack if I get to the end of my day and realize I'm way under on calories.
But whether I'm eating over 2,000 calories (like I often probably did before I was losing weight), 900 calories (before I started MFP I just ate that many when I was eating light because I didn't know about the 1,200 "rule" and just thought less = better) or around 1,500-ish like I do now...I just RARELY get the "hunger" feeling. The only time I actually feel hungry is if I miss a major meal. For example I usually eat dinner around 6 pm and if I'm kept late at work 'til 9 pm (very rare) I will have a growly stomach and want to eat everything in sight when I get home.
Aside from that, not so much. I may get a headache if I haven't had any sugar or caffeine in awhile but I very rarely feel "hungry". Anyone else like this?
I have a lot of friends who subscribe to the "eat what your body wants when it tells you it is hungry". I guess I am out of touch with my body. If I did that, I'd wind up having a healthy breakfast then a Starbucks latte for lunch and a Snickers bar at dinner. Not good! hehe Any ideas on getting more "in touch" with my hunger so I can identify it?

I don't sweat it. It happens. Then I'll have days when I'm actually hungry and have no problem eating my calories. It all balances out in the end.0
