PCOS meds and weight loss

To the ladies out there with PCOS, does your meds interfere with your weight loss? As of now I'm taking Primolut N (a synthetic progesterone) to have a regular menstrual cycle. After a week of intake, I gained weight and also I feel bloated all the time. I'm 5'5" and currently 209.8 lbs. I gained 4 lbs since I took the meds. I'm eating 1500 cal per day and do fitness boxing as an exercise
