2 eggs and toast with a bit of butter at 6:30 and hungry at 9:30.
Although eggs arr nice and full of protein, why am i always hungry soon after eating them?

Protein, fat & fiber are filling. Your eggs have fat and protein. What kind of toast? Does it have a decent amount of fiber? Maybe saute some veggies to have with your eggs (fiber) or add some cheese.0 -

Every morning I eat the same thing with a slight variation: three egg whites, cream cheese or a piece of cheese, a piece of toast, a banana, and coffee/ water. What I found is that when I ate more refined carbs with my eggs like 1/2 a bagel or a hamburger bun, I would feel super hungry not even an hour later! Try more dense, fiber-filled breads like a grainy bread which will keep you fuller longer. Arnold has a bread called "Super Grainy" which is great! Veer away from the gluten-free breads with loaded sugars, as that will make the hunger worse. Hope this helps! Keep fighting the good fight.

With the eggs and toast, i had a bit of greek yogourt with dry raisin.
The bread is normal type, 14 cereal, not white, not gluten free ( i dont buy into that gimmick).
Well i just moved my desert from my lunch, greek yogourt and frozen blueberries.
Should be good 'till red bell pepper time at 110 -

How many calories is this meal? Are you fairly active during this time period? If you eat other foods at 6:30 how long is it before you get hungry again? Maybe eat a different food, have more calories in the morning or add some vegetables or fruit to your breakfast.
I tend to get hungry every 3-5 hours no matter what I eat. I don't find eggs as filling as some other foods.0 -
Im always hungry after eating eggs for breakfast. Idon't know why.

After my breakfast, i sat in my car for an hour of traffic. And i have an office job super sedentary except for bathroom and water run.0 -
I can eat a big breakfast or a small one, I'm still usually hungry 3-4 hours later. I eat a high fiber and protein breakfast consisting of lentils/split peas, black beans, corn, and tomatoes. It's good and filling, but it doesn't usually last until lunch.
One suggestion would be to make sure the toast is 100% whole wheat or 100% whole grains. That will help alittle, or at least be healthier.0 -
It is normal to be hungry 3 or so hours later. That said, I stay satisfied for quite awhile when I have (savory) oatmeal with my eggs instead of toast.1

I'm with you....I am ready for second breakfast by then too!!! Even if I have a nice bowl of stick to your ribs Oatmeal!!0 -

Agreed. I have a glass of water at 7am before I leave the house for work and then breakfast at 8.30/9 which usually means I don't need a morning snack and can last till lunch at 120 -

Sometimes scallions or chives, sometimes a 1/2 tsp. of sesame oil, sometimes some red pepper flakes. And I LOVE sriracha. It was kind of a mental thing to start thinking of it as a starch that could be seasoned any way I like rather than something that must be sweet, but it doesn't seem strange to me anymore.

This morning, no time to eat before leaving home. So i got myself a bagel with cream cheese (no butter) at the train station around 8am.
It is now 11 and i'm not really hungry.
There must be something with me and eggs...0 -
