so, I go to the gym in my apartment building and they barely have any weights. I'm pretty weak, so I'm just now ready to move past the 10 pound dumbbells, but the only thing they have between 10 and 20 is a single 15 pound one. I don't really have any money for another gym membership or my own weights, does anyone have suggestions about what I should do from here?

Try doing a bodyweight program that requires no use of a gym:

There are probably workarounds. Which exercises are you doing where you need more than 10 lbs?0 -

Probably literally anything.
If 10 is too light, and 15 is too heavy... Add reps to 10, then start with lower reps on 15 until 15 is too light. Then repeat for 20.1 -
What exercise are you doing?0
