how do I add a vegetable salad that has lots of small amounts of different veggies added, when I tried weighing some of the ingredients it didn't even register on the scale, but as a whole it weighs 232g but that's mostly spinach and lettuce and the only other ingredient that weighted something was the cabbage

Are all of them low calorie like the spinach, lettuce and cabbage?

Maybe you need a more sensitive scale. When I put only a few leaves of spinach on mine, it registers.
What were the other ingredients so light that the weight didn't register? A sprinkle of Parmesan cheese?0 -
It really should register on the scale if it's that big a salad overall (I make salad with lots of different vegetables all the time -- chop them, add them, hit tare, and add, and from doing this and I can't imagine stuff like broccoli, cucumber, carrots, tomatoes, mushrooms, brussels, whatever, would be in such small quantities that they wouldn't show).
That said, of course if they are all low calorie vegetables you can just estimate, no problem.0 -
I have measured as low as 28g before, not sure if I've ever measured any lower than that, no I can't get a new scale, I have to live with what I have
the ones that didn't weigh were carrots, onions and green pepper
I think I might just meal prep my salads so that I can measure out larger quantities then separate for individual salads0
