Low impact alternative

Hi all

Does anyone have any recommendations for a low impact alternative to the 30 Day Shred?

I have been doing it for a little over a week now, alternative days, but the last couple of times have really taken their toll on my knees.

I love the programme, love feeling like I've really had a workout, but yesterday I really struggled to get through some of the cardio exercises as the impact was causing pain.

If anyone knows of any other programmes, preferably through YouTube, that achieve the same objectives, but with less stress on the knees, I would be great full for your recommendations.

Thanks.

JM has a "beginners shred" DVD which my friend did. She said it is less impact. If the cardio is the portion giving you problems, change it to a different cardio that doesn't involve jumping like getting on on exercise bike. If your knees still hurt then, it may be the lunges. Concentrate on form and weight instead of going so deep into the exercise. Maybe you could just do punches for the two minutes. Maybe wrap or splint your knees before exercising.

I would agree. I wished I found fitnessblender.com before 30 day shred. My knees and ankles suffered as was so weak.
Spend time on fitnessblender.com website and plan out your week. They have workouts were no jumping is required
    Good luck

Nearly any high impact exercise can be modified by keeping one foot on the ground. Try it! It might seem weird at first, but you quickly get used to it,.
