Is anyone else having trouble dropping pants sizes?

I have lost around 55 lbs, and i'm feeling really good. i went from 307 to 251. I am a male, 19 years old, and i'm finally enjoying life. I have went from wearing an extremely tight 2XL shirts to a loose XL shirt. I've lost some good belly fat and even gained a lot of calve muscles.

my only struggle is dropping pants sizes. I currently wear a 42. I was a 44 but now i'm a 42. the last time i was this small i wore a size 38 pants. I'm not sure why i'm having trouble with this, at first i was having a lot of trouble with belly fat and now thats going away, but my thighs and such don't look any different.

My main exercises I do daily is about an hour to an hour and a half of basketball at the YMCA, 2-3 miles per day on the treadmill. 15 minutes in the sauna, and today i'm adding swimming to my routine.

I'm also going to start bike riding again tonight. (Haven't done it in 2 months)


What have you done to drop pants sizes?
