I've bought PC blue menu chicken. 500g is about 100g protein,500 calories, 5g of fat and a little bit of salt (120mg ish) I bought a different kind from PC which is called of free from. 400g has 750 calories , 40g of fat , 80g of protein and about 800mg of sodium. I mean I guess both are good for me as long as I watch my macros and calories but I could be eating more of the first option

I don't think it's just the meat...these are like frozen meals right? So it would depend on the composition of the meal in it's entirety, not just the piece of chicken.0 -
Are they different parts of the chicken (thighs vs. breast)? Are there ingredients besides chicken? Check the ingredients list. You can always email them, too, if you have a question about a product.0

I think OP is just talking about raw chicken - PC Blue Menu is the "healthy" store brand for a Canadian grocery chain (usually features lower calories, fat, or sodium) and they sell everything from pasta to ice cream to beverages and condiments under that name, including meats.1 -
To answer the original question, the fat composition differs based on the feed and amount of exercise the animal gets. Kinda like ... idk ... a human ...
And also, since its processed, variations in how it is prepared ( trimming, packing, etc ) will also have an impact.0 -
I think it depends on how it was fed but mostly how trimmed it is. I always trim the fat so in the end it's probably very similar.0

just like people animals are not carbon copy robots. They all have difference size muscles (meat) or fat depending on genetics, diet, exorcize ect.1
