green tea

I keep reading that green tea is really great for weight loss.. anyone have any good results with it? I love green tea I just dont drink it on a daily basis.

    No. It does nothing for weight loss.

    I drink green tea everyday, but I really don't think it's had an impact on my weightloss. I do love it though!

    There is no magic pill, or in this case tea.

    There are many benefits of drinking green tea, one reported benefit is improved metabolism. While this may be true is it not to the degree that you will suddenly start dropping 5 + lbs a week just be drinking green tea every day.

    Weight loss is achieved by burning more calories then you consume. Plain and simple. Exercise, eat healthy (which may include drinking green tea), relax to reduce stress hormones.

    I want to add that when I drink green tea I pee a lot more.

    Obviously it isnt going to just make me drop weight..but Im sure it cant hurt when it comes to losing weight

    If you like to drink it, go for it, but green tea by itself does nothing for weight loss. A calorie deficit is more important and throwing in some exercise too will help the process.
