i celebrated six years of sobriety yesterday, 7/14/13, with a 5K and an overwhelming sense of gratitude for my family, friends, nature, and this community of love/silliness/health/wellness/betterment we call MFP. i may have only lost 10ish pounds since i started this thing two years ago, but i've gained so much more (see what i did there?): friendships, knowledge (nutrition/heavy lifting/running tips), and confidence.
