If you have some money to spare you can get a BodyMedia Core or Link it will help you keep track of the calories you burn and it automatically syncs with MyFitnessPal. Also tracks the amount of time you sleep and the total time you are active / exercising
Find out more here

I had mine for about 2 months and love it. It tracks the amount of time you sleep automatically so you don't have to worry about pushing buttons to get it into sleep mode. It also tracks the calories you burn and the total steps you take in a day. It has been an awesome tool to help me lose weight0 -
I've been looking for one as well0

The "best" one (is still an estimate) ...... but has you input the most information:
Calorie burns depend upon: height, weight, age, gender, exertion level, and other factors. If you are using a machine that asks most of these questions .... you are likely doing pretty well.
The problem with these calculators ......exertion level...... how hard you are working. A heart rate monitor "attempts" to calculate this by measuring your heart rate (constantly for chest strap models) ..... and comparing that to your rest heart rate. For many people (not all) this is pretty accurate ..... for CARDIO workouts only.... not strength training ..... and FitBit devices don't work this way, so you would use a heart rate monitor for workouts & FitBit at other times.
So ..... I guess my point is this ..... take ANY calcuator information with a grain of salt0 -

Use TDEE minus 20%.... And don't eat back what you burn. That way you don't need to record or track calories burned.0
