My name is Adnan Im 29 from calgary canada.
Looking to lose about 50 pounds been going to the gym frequently but never losing weight. Past two weeks i have changed my diet which is helping. Can anyone tell me how you got to your goals Thanks

Eat less and / or move more. Take in fewer calories than you burn during a day (calorie deficit).
Doing exercise & eating "healthy" don't necessarily mean you are at a calorie deficit. Those things are great for your health, but no guarantee for weight loss. Reducing calories in is 90% of weight loss.
Log your stats (height, weight, age, gender) in MFP and log your food until you reach that goal. If you exercise you "earn" more calories. Eat a portion of those calories too.1
