so i have my calories calculated from the iifym website for 5 days of weight training. Beginning this week, i will do cardio for 1 hour on the weekends. Do i need to just simply adjust the days to 7 days or is there something special i need to do for two days of cardio since its a different form of exercise?

Personally, I'd just leave it and monitor my real world results and make any adjustments based on that, not some calculator. IMO, these calculators are really just a reasonably good place to get started...but once you have your own data, that data trumps these calculators.

I'd just adjust it to 7 days. If it has a negative impact on you reaching your goal (not sure if you're trying to lose or maintain) you can adjust it.

from what i read alot, is it the rule of thumb that cardio days are different intake than strength training days? or is this just *kitten*?

How much you lose/gain eating at the calorie level. Example: if the calculator said to eat 2500 calories, eat that for 4 weeks or so. Then look at how your weight has changed and you can adjust up/down from there.

rate of loss or not losing, etc...if you're losing faster than you want to then you know you just need to bump your calories a bit...you don't need a computer or calculator to tell you that. If you're not losing then you're eating too much, etc...

Yes, no, maybe...it would depend. For the most part I eat at the same level everyday...exceptions would be on days that I'm out on the bike for 2-3-4 hours + and expending a *kitten* ton of energy

If you're eating too little/got your macros a bit wacky for your own personal needs then this will soon show in your performance.
