Every time I lose a pound or more, set my activity level to something different and then change back to original my calories allowed keep dropping. Is this intentional? I've lost 17 pounds in 6 weeks and my calories allowed have dropped by almost 250.

yes, as your weight drops it takes fewer calories to maintain a given body size - i.e. a 250lb person needs more calories to maintain that 250lbs than a 150lb person would need.0

Thanks! Didn't know caloric need would drop that quickly. I'm sure that will plateau soon as it says I need 1920 for 2 lb per week loss. 70 more lbs to go! I got this ish0

The calorie goal will only plateau when you reach the point that you can no longer safely lose 2 pounds per week. From your user name I'm going to assume you are male so that point for you will be at 1500 calories. Once you hit 1500 and it doesn't go lower the next time you adjust that's your signal to change your goal to 1.5 pounds per week. You can change that goal sooner, if you like, but not later.0
