Not funny for me at all sorry. Nothing to do with Jesus, I'm not at all religious. Losing a child..... can't even explain1 -

... and that's okay.
I struggle with how much suffering there is in the world and God's perceived indifference to it; I can't explain it and don't think anyone else can either.
To believe in God,one has to justify pain, suffering and a lack of justice in this world. Those who don't believe in God get to justify everything else.
That is unless you're a nihilist,then well....

Same. If you have lost a child you would not find this funny at all. Actually quite distasteful.3 -

All; Thank you for your support. A little background on this; My wife and I lost a child that she never got to hold and I did. Nathan was stillborn one week after his delivery date. We went through that last week knowing this child was going to be stillborn. I have been all over the world, fought in three combat zones, THIS was the worst week of my life.3

((hugs)) I completely understand all of this. I am so sorry she never got to hold him. I held my daughter, Caylen, whom passed during child birth a few weeks before her due date, for about 8 hours. They had to pry her from me to take her down to the morgue. I would not have gotten any closure without holding her. My heart goes out to your wife, I can't imagine.2 -
