So, every time I drive through Kansas, I am confronted by this:

I'm conflicted on whether to laugh a lot about it (which I do anyway) or be somewhat uncomfortable/disturbed that billboard Jesus is spying on me driving my Captiva through the wilds of Kansas.

Are you sure it's Jesus?? Maybe it's...

Hearing a co worker come back from Walmart complaining and in awe that they don't sell Target gift cards has me like:

I've had a jacket for years, because it's the best one I've found for my needs (cycling, xc skiing, climbing, canoeing or kayaking, even running). Lets just the right amount of wind through so I'm protected but cooled a little. When I wear goretex, I sweat like a pig. Fleece doesn't protect enough from the wind and gets too warm with exertion. I found my Goldilocks one, just right. They don't make these anymore and I can't get another one, I've tried.

The metal thing you pull on, on the zipper, came off. Beth decided to get it fixed for me as an anniversary gift. She took it to her friend who completely *kitten* the job up. Looks like it got run over by a lawnmower. The new zipper gets stuck, and doesn't block the elements. It's all bad.

Beth could see the disappointment I was trying not to show. I told her she's very thoughtful, thanked her for wanting to do something so personal to make me smile. She asked me what I'm going to do, I told her I'm taking it to a professional and hoping they can save it.

Now she's mad at me.

Oh no...how do you know she's mad? Silent treatment?

They don't much like cucumbers, either.
