Hey everyone! My name is Swati. I am a mum of 2. I am 49, and need to lose about 73lbs. I keep changing my diet every now and then because I get bored and then give up and back track on weight loss. So I decided I will just change the diet when I want to give up out of boredom, instead of just giving up on my journey.

I had been doing ketogenic diet, and lost about 16 lbs. Then got bored of low carbing and started binging...did that for 3 weeks, and regained about 3 lbs. Not bad. Anyway, that's when I remembered a wise friend's advice to change the diet and exercise if I get bored instead of giving up.

Now I am doing a frozen food diet. Read about it on Woman's Week mag, and it seemed do-able for now. So I'm not low carbing for now. Just keeping under 1200 calories a day & exercising. Started about 4 days back, and lost the 3 lbs I had gained.

Best of all, my sugar is TOTALLY under control!! I was surprised because I am pre-diabetic...hence the low carbing. But despite not taking care of counting carbs, and just eating regular frozen food in the last 4 days, my sugar was down to 94 this morning. This is the LOWEST my blood sugar has been. Really happy about that.

I would love to have friends here so that I could stay motivated to lose weight and improve my health.
