Longevity and consistency

Options
Hello all! I'm Jim and at 52 I've come to the realization that I simply MUST make some changes. As someone who's been fit for most of their life, this is hard to admit. The past few years have been a whirlwind...something we all experience at some point in one way or another. Seven years slipped by and one day you wonder...who IS that old, fat guy in the mirror?!

    Jim,
I know how I got here - after three years of relentless family crises. Now I look back and realize that I could have weathered the problems better if I had taken better care of myself. You are right, it's for longevity and consistency. That's what I'm working on now. It's not just the reduction of food, it's also better quality food and exercise. It's the need to love myself enough to take good care of me.
What a journey! Good luck with yours, too.

52 is still young and early enough to adopt some better habits to make the 2nd half of your life the best!
