What size dumbbells to purchase next and blocks to raise them?

I recently got an FID bench for doing dumbbell exercises and really enjoying it. Currently have a set of 35's that I can do 4 sets of 12 with for a couple different presses. Ready to get some bigger ones and realize the reps will decrease. What would the next logical set I should look at getting to likely put me more in the 6-8 range for a while? 50's?
Also looking to see if something exists for blocks that will raise them 5-10 inches off the ground? Find it a little awkward to be picking them up off the floor when on the bench.
Thanks

I know this isn't super fancy, but could you pick up some cinder blocks at a home improvement store?0

Similar size would be good but looking for cork/wood if possible to not hurt the floor. I'll make them if I have to but figured there may be some larger exercise blocks that might fit the bill.0
