    I saw a guy out jogging with his two dogs last week. He had lots of fur, but was also sporting some nice guns. There wasn't anything bad about it. (The whole package was hot)

    So, I think hairy back on a fit guy is fine. But, the same hairy back on a not-fit guy; not so good. I think it has more to do with hygiene perception.

    If it looks like you're wearing a sweater...No thanks. Other than that, I don't mind it.

    A few here and ther eno issue..A carpet back there is too much for me..But maybe that is because I am used to my soon to bed ex husband who has nearly no body hair.

    I wouldn't say it's annoying. It's just for vanity reasons. Some chicks like bears and some don't. If I was into a guy I wouldn't care either way.

    Isn't bear more of a gay term?

    Agreed. If you're otherwise attractive to me in looks and personality, I can overlook back hair.

    Agree, personality and chemistry are much more important.

    The only thing that annoys me about my husband's back hair is when he tried to convince me to shave/wax it for him.

    I love my OH's hair, no matter where it is, Apart from facial stubble.... hate it. It hurts!

    Hair is probably my one big concern on my body. I check ear and nose hair daily. Nothing worse then try to talk to a guy and ear/nose hair look like bird's nests.

    yes technically a bear is a gay term used to describe a husky, hairy large cuddly man...

    but as with many terms, it's been assumed by the popular community

    Some back hair is cool. But if he takes off his sweater only to reveal another sweater... I'm honestly a bit turned off.

    My chest is fuzzy. ill never shave it , im evenly coated. it makes my v-necks pop

    I personally am not down with back hair. Chest hair, sure but there's something about back hair...

    I have hair ripped out of various parts of my body once a month...you can do the same. :tongue:

    Everyone here is very forgiving. Back hair is like facial hair on women -- you either deal with it or you don't, but don't blame others for not finding you attractive.

    In other words, back hair is not a plus. It's mostly a minus. It's not like abs -- which are always a plus.

    I like a little chest hair or clean shaven, not a big fan of a ton of back hair.
