Happy Friday Pepper's,
Well the scale finally moved in the right direction lost 1 pound (I'll take it):drinker: dont think that is too bad considering aunt flow is visiting.
veggies today: cucumber, salad and maybe corn
Fruits today: straberries, apple and watermelon

Hi folks....well I am up .2 today. 187.4. I'm ok with that since the past few wks have been losses. I had a good week with food, within calories, cept one, and only over a few hundred that day. I had 5 good days of exercise, I feel and look slimmer and my clothes are fitting better. PLUS, my dh told me when he got home this am that I am getting smaller!! I also realize that I am in my pms wk, and last month I had 5 bad days in a row with that. That alone is my personal challenge this weekend! I usually gain the week before than lose when it arrives. Gotta watch the salt and keep with the water!
Cindy ~ way to go on shedding that lb!! Congrats! Keep on with your plan...it's working!
fruits ~ peach & banana
veggies ~ cauliflower, cuke, pepper & onion
exercise ~ C25K W5D3! I will be joggin ( I hope:huh: ) for 20 minutes straight today!! not sure what I am doing for resistance. Might be BL strength & sculpt OR weighted ball. will add 5 minutes extra onto C25K.

Mom has needed me in all my spare time, Have not been taken care of myself and things are out of controll. Last friday I weight 151 so that is up again. But eating on the run is getting the best of me.

Good Afternoon Pepper's,
It was a long week end and work has been really busy this morning. Not much exercise this week end but I was really good with my calories. Eating my veggies and fruits.
I am making a new challenge for myself and I hope everyone will follow. If we can check in once a day or every other day or even let others know when we are away and cant get to a computer. I will check in with everyone everyday even if I just say busy day check in later.
I want to show that I am supporting everyone just as they are supporting me. :bigsmile: :drinker: I really stinks when you check in and no one has been on for days. Summer is busy but I want to show I am not to busy for my Pepper family.

hey everyone...well, I am on day 4 of not eating well, or getting in any exercise....was not going to let pms control me this month, but it HAS. but then again, I did not plan any of my meals ahead of time or even care to get on my treadmill or lift a dumbbell. bummer. the scale will show my struggles this week. SO, ready to get back at it tomorrow and just try for a better day, one meal at a time. With ya Jacque on starting fresh!
I agree with all that Cindy has said about checking in. I understand how busy our lives can get with work, kids, vacations, LIFE, pc probs, etc....even the very ugly, emotional roller coaster funk. I for one have been guilty of being absent. Sometimes there is nothing we can do about it, OR want to do anything about it. I think we all need to come together here, not only for ourselves, but for each other. I know that is why I joined MFP. It really only takes a couple of minutes to log in and see what's up with the gang. I am truly saddened when we start to fizzle out....and I realize that ppl move on and have life events that result in abandoning the team. I get that...it happens to many of the teams here. I just care about you all so very much.
I am dedicated to you ALL on this journey....challenges, struggles, gains, losses, goals met, milestones, life, ALL of it....every step of the way! Your friendship's are my treasure's!

I know sometimes I dont check in because I am feeling guilty about eating bad or not exercising. But realize we all go off sometimes and that is why I joined as well even if it is one person it helps me. Being busy is very good for us and part of life.
Staying on track has been hard for me too Kelly this was my week as well for Aunt Flow but as hard as it was I am trying to stick with in my calories. Very tough with the cook outs this week end. But I stayed with the lower calorie choices and it seamed to work. When I wanted sweet I went for fruits. I have had so much energy since I have been good. Thats is what I think of when making the food choices. Exercise on the other hand has not been good. Cant seam to get back into the walking, its been so hot here that as soon as I step outside I sweat. Hang in there Kelly and Jacque we can do this. :flowerforyou:

Barb I want a Wii!! That sounds so cool.
Ok so yesterday was so so. But at least I reconized it so I am going to start checkin in everyday to I think this is a great challege!! So ok I started logging again as of today so lets see how today goes. I am going to try and get to the gym tonight after work hopefully dad can handel mom tonight and I can get a break. So since it been so weird for me my challage this week is to get in my 8 glasses of water a day. I dont know why this is so hard for me but it is.

hey everyone...hope you are all having a good Wednesday thus far.....I am working on it, one hour at a time. So, I had to get on the scale....up almost 10 lbs. I am gonna try and motivate myself with that, TRY. I know that much of it is fluid, so just gotta get back to my healthier ways. I am suppose to also be on W6 of C25K. Well, I may have to go back a week depending on how it goes. Another thing I think I have figured out is that I am not doing enough resistance training. So, will try to up that starting today. Plan is to blast the calories away!
Barb ~ I have always wanted a Wii too. they sound like such great workouts!
Jacque ~ I am with ya on logging the food and water intake. Been a big slacker here. Let's get busy! Prayers for you mom!

Kelly the only reason I was good with mine is I have been drowning myself in water. Got rid of the bloated feeling anyway. Hope the scale is good to me on Friday. I do well logging my food during the week, but week ends not so good. I am trying to log on week ends too. I figure if I can at least write down what I am eating then I can see where I am at. I hate when I have to make up for eating poorly on the week ends.

Hey ladies.....
Well, overnight, I seemed to put on 6lbs. I got on the Wii and Julianne makes you weigh in each time. My lower jaw hit the floor. What made it worse is two of my kids and Dave were watching me. I felt embarrassed to have my weight seen by the kids and Dave.
Then this peanut gallery was telling me to make my character run faster.... "We want to see her run... run Mom, run. Followed by "You're not running.." Of course NO ONE else wanted to make a character to challenge me.
I didn't drink a lot yesterday.... so that may be my problem regarding the gain. I have been bad about not logging anything.
On the flip side, I feel successful .... yesterday did a 371 calorie workout in Curves then came home and did a 350+ calorie workout on the Wii.
Ok, here's a plan..... we need someone to host a Smoking Hot Green Pepper's meet & greet event! I'll bring the wii and healthy snacks! Does sangria count as healthy? It's a fruity wine!

lol....Barb, your post has lifted my spirits! I would forget about them dang 6lbs....you burned some decent calories girl! For the last 5 days I start out logging, then eat so much MORE, way MORE, that it is impossible to record it all...well, unless I just enter an entire bag of cheese puffs, or 2 Hershey's candy bars, 1/2 liter of Pepsi, a container of potato salad...UGH!
I'm free for a good month yet....and I've been looking for a place to visit.....oh, and Sangria is my favorite! I could do the Absecon Lighthouse & Rocky steps for workout challenges! the last time I did the Rocky steps, I tripped and fell when I reached the top!
Does everyone like to gamble? I'll start checking rates.....lol I bet there are some decent buffets? ha

hahahaha:laugh: :laugh: You guys are crazy!! I so want to go and have a pepper holiday!!!! I think we need to do it! I have no vacation time so I would need it to be a weekend thing!
Well I did really good yeesterday until dinner that is and then it was a total free for all. I took only serving size and ate only one plate which was great but then not even an hour after dinner I started in on the crackers with cream cheese and jalopenia jelli. Then I sat an ate peanuts before bed. :frown: :frown:
Never got to exercise we have a tropical depression headed our way and the roads are bad so I didn't want to go out in the rain, I know I know but I am on strike at the house and there is no room to exercise. There is stuff everywhere and I refuse to clean it. I think the kids are finally breaking I woke up to 2 loads of laundry done so they must have ran out of cloths, Now lets see how long it take them to do the dishes and pick up the house. I can wait:glasses:

Well did good and only went over 26 calories yesterday. I thought it would have been more because Mom made potato salad MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, love it had more than a cup, but only had a piece of chicken with it. Today is a new day and not as hot. will get some walking in. Have to drink extra water to flush the potato salad.
I agree we need to get together some how. I used up all my time off too so week ends are good.
Well eating my fruits and veggies and lots of water today. This has been a struggle week for food. I understand we are all going through the hungry horrors, but Pepper's

Well, ladies if we're in week 27 perhaps a 1 year anniversary event? Or within the month we began as Peppers If a weekend thing is more needed.... I know what weekends I have military duty and can not be excused from.
Philadelphia has more "attractions" if the weather is crappy (museums, Independence Hall, constitution center, etc). Atlantic City has more gambling.
Vegas now, there's a city.... . "Honey, I'm going away on a Pepper's weekend in Vegas. Love ya....but sorry no Vegas show girl for you!"
Kelly - I would rather increase my sxx time than my exercise time. Poor Dave, I would outdistance him.... in running.... cuz due to foot problems no more running for him. I bet you guys were thinking I would outdistance him in other ways.... well, that's personal! lol!
Jacque - I hear ya, my kids believe Mom is a maid, personal chef & driver. Yuck. Was there some sort of contract I signed when I gave birth that I was unaware of? Did the hospital slip in a maid/personal chef/driver contract admist the discharge instructions?
Sindy - 26 calories over -- acceptable. Have sxxx to burn those 26 calories.

Jacque my son is 19 and still complains when we ask him to do something. But I pay for the cell phone he has and he does not want me to tell grandma he gave me a hard time. (She makes him clean his room and do his own laundry, clean the bathrooms and vacum down stairs) :laugh: I love living with mom. Make those kids clean up.
Kelly I have never been to Sangria or Vegas. Next month I am going camping with the girls in VT. I cant wait. Then I come home and my dh goes on his man camping trip :laugh: just means I get the house to myself.

Sindy --- Sangria is a fruity, red wine. It goes GREAT in any city and with any meal choice. Not that I have personal experience or anything..... but I am slowly killing a bottle at my house. I'm stretching out the bottle -- just one half full glass at a time.
Anyway, it would be awesome if the Peppers could meet.
Maybe we each bring one bigger size clothing item we no longer wear cuz we got thinner!
Have a throw away the "big" clothes party!
Of course, with healthy snacks......
Now ya'll must know I have no focus on work right now... at least it's not on food!0 -
I say we go to whatever city has the cheapest flights. Then I really need to start workin out so I have a big clothe item to toss away at the party. I will go anywhere just tell me when and where and I am there hahahaha a rhyme.:laugh:
Now update on the laundry front. Dear son informed me he did the clothes, when ask why he didn't hang or fold him: well i am only going to fold my stuff. me: Well you could at least do mine him: I am washing and drying at least everyone can fold their own! agh! bye MOM!!

I think we all have been having extremes in the weather....we just had remnants of Alex finally end here. About 30 minutes north, got 6 inches of rain yesterday. Flash flooding, and the rivers are over flood stage. this is our first dry day in 6 days. I see the rain in Texas, heat out east and I think it has been warm for Vita too.....
Jacque ~ I love cherries, but have held off on getting some cuz of the price. I have noticed when I shop lately, that I am really only buying for myself cuz the guys sure don't eat what I eat!
Cindy ~ my dh goes to Canada 2-3 times a year, just guy trips....so, I am way behind in the tally. It's definitely my turn and my time to get away! I feel like a free woman with the kids out of school. course it's college for 4 yrs now, and well, other problems that go with that age group....:huh:
our oldest, 20 yr old is in the process of getting a different car...today I have felt like his personal secretary. call the bank, get quotes for insurance, get auto info....ENUF! ** sometimes **....just sometimes, our kids surprise us! like doing the dishes, laundry, vacuuming.....if they would just pick up after themselves, that would be 90% of the mess here! and I hate it, just irritates the heck outta me, when they can't find something....in their own room!
Barb ~ just thinking about all the possibilities here....if you guys are serious, I will do any searching for us.....is there a particular site that is better than another? I know sometimes Allegiant has specials ( Casino's usually ) Just let me know and I will get busy!! I bet the Pepper's could put together an act and be better than Donny & Marie @ the Flamingo! :laugh: jk, again...

Kelly I hear that. I told my son to find his diploma to register for college and I put it on his desk in his room, 3 days later he said it was not in his room. I walked in and asked what the pile of books were in the corner, he said I already looked there and its not there. Well I told him to start handing me the pile. Guess he did not look hard enough it was under the last book in the pile.
That is why grandma makes him clean the bathrooms. He does not pick up after himself or does not do a good job (hoping we wont ask him to do it again) grandma stays with him and makes sure he does it to her standards. Worst part is he will do anything grandma says no complaining. So we just tell her when we want something done. :laugh:
Barb dont know to much about wine. LOL thought it was a place.
Jacque if it was not for mom he would complain constantly.
