Hi...I'm having a hard time with emotional binge eating right now - any suggestions from anyone?

The first thing I could ask is this: Are you addressing the emotional turmoil that causes you to binge? Cause in many of the cases of this I read on here, the success stories, the first step people had to take was to address the underlying issue before they addressed how they were self-medicating it, which in your case is by binge eating. Some people do that by getting professional help, which, if you can afford it could be the best thing in the world, or simply by removing from their lives the cause of said emotional turmoil. What kind of steps are you taking to address the sickness and not the symptom?0

Hi Chris,
I used to be an emotional eater but now I manage stress with exercise.
I've also had therapy and know how to shut down Sabotaging Thoughts.1
