Chia seeds vs. Chia gel

I recently started incorporating chia seeds in my morning smoothie. I soaked the seeds in water overnight in the fridge to make gel. My question is: how can I find out nutritional info for 1 tablespoon of the gel? Wouldn't it be different than 1 tablespoon of dry seeds?

Are you making a big batch of the gel and then using a tablespoon of that? You should still have a value for how much dry chia you are using to make the gel and then base your logging on what portion of the batch you're using.
Example: I take 30 grams of chia seeds and make gel. I then take [x] portion of the resulting gel and put it in my smoothie. You can weigh the resulting gel to understand how much of the original 30 grams you are eating.0 -
@janejellyroll yes, I put 1/3 cup of seeds in 2 cups of water and let it soak overnight to make the gel. Then I add two tablespoons of that gel into my smoothie.0
