Today I walked 5.4km total while carrying my baby....so would it be terrible to skip my actual workout?

It depends how you feel. If you are tired take a break. Listen to your body.

My knee was bothering me today, rather than risking re-injury I took a day off. Listen to your body.

Of course not! Like the others have said, listen to your body :)

Yeah sure. Listen to your body and then tell it to shut the hell up! The real question is "how bad do you want it"?

I agree to listen to your body. Although in my case, I really try not to skip it unless I'm really ill or badly injured. It helps my mood tremendously if I work out in the morning, otherwise I just have no motivation or energy for anything else in the day.

But that's just me. I kind of never take a break. Lol. Even on weekends I do some sort of activity.
