Today I walked 5.4km total while carrying my baby....so would it be terrible to skip my actual workout?

It depends how you feel. If you are tired take a break. Listen to your body.0

My knee was bothering me today, rather than risking re-injury I took a day off. Listen to your body.0

Of course not! Like the others have said, listen to your body

Yeah sure. Listen to your body and then tell it to shut the hell up! The real question is "how bad do you want it"?1

I agree to listen to your body. Although in my case, I really try not to skip it unless I'm really ill or badly injured. It helps my mood tremendously if I work out in the morning, otherwise I just have no motivation or energy for anything else in the day.
But that's just me. I kind of never take a break. Lol. Even on weekends I do some sort of activity.2
