Ah so, an introduction. Yes. My name is Cai. I am 22 years old. I am 5'2, and I started around 160. On the scale this morning I was 155.

I just want to stick with it this time, I am desperate for a healthy change. I know when I work out I'm healthier, but since I got an on campus job my main focus is that and work. Normally I would change my availability, but we are really understaffed. The main thing I miss is my yoga class that would meet at 4 every Tuesday and Thursday. It was my me time, I would be able to center myself again. Now I work till 5, and it's only been 3 weeks and I'm already dying. The stress without an outlet is really killing me. Running helps me feel less stressed, but it's hard to clear my head space, unlike with yoga. And I can't do yoga with an app because of my scoliosis. My doctor said in a class would be fine because there would be someone to correct my posture if I am doing it wrong, but on my own I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing, and risk injury. It's just messing with my headspace.

My goal is to be able to do 5 pull ups. Considering I can't even do an assisted push up, I've got a long way to go. For now, until I get my headspace better, I want to make it a goal to track everyday. Sometimes I can go for a week and then give up, and I would really like to just continue on. I would also like to give up Soda/drink only water and my tea, and aim for 80 oz.

    Good for you!

    When I was a sophomore in college, I weighed 145. (I'm 5'3".) I didn't watch my weight and I didn't take dieting seriously. I topped out at 328 when I was 62 years old.

You are right to diet now. My only regret is that I didn't ever achieve a normal weight. Or at least hold my weight at 145.

I've lost 61 pounds now and have 65 to go. I'll make it. Not this year, but I will make it.

You have good plans and good goals. Your goals are specific, measurable, and achievable. Keep us posted on how you do.
