Definitely. It's hard at first, things don't feel quite right - too much silence.

I understand that. Then you start talking to your dog and even he gets up to leave the room...*kitten*

That's exactly right lol my dog does that...and I am like "hey yo come right back here" and he is like "nuh I need a nap" lol

I know it's hard, there are ups and downs. But this opens a new chapter in your life, you may discover aspects about yourself you never knew were in there. When I got divorced, it gave me the opportunity to live by myself, WITH myself.

You're welcome :-) you'll have great days and not so great days, but that's life - married or not. Keeping busy is good, but don't forget to give yourself time to process what's going on. I gotta get to bed, so have a nice night!

Many of us have been there. Just remember: This too shall pass

It will take some time, but you'll be okay.

My cat is in my lap, purring like a mo. Every once in a while, he pops his head up and stares just past my head. Kinda freaking me out.

My cats do this alot. I just assume it's the dead murderer's ghost that lives in my wall.

That's a sign of dominance in dogs and he is asserting his dominance over you which is why he doesn't look away. You have to win.
