Hello. I was wondering about this for awhile because I'm not sure if it'll slow down my weight loss.
Say mfp reccommends 1500 calories to eat.
Then you excersize 500 calories or 200, it add the calories to the food.
SHould you eat those calories or will it hinder you? I know this mainly depends on what you eat.
Is it safe to not eat those calories? Would eating them help you lose weight? Would eating them not?
2,000 is maintaining weight - I'm scared i won't lose anything if I eat over 2k ;-;

    The MFP way would to eat those calories back. But they are estimates, so I would recommend only eating half.

    ETA: If you exercise regularly, you can switch to the TDEE method which includes exercise into the equation and then you would not have to worry about eating back exercise calories. And it also makes it easier to get an understanding of your true maintenance as compared to the formulas.
