I am back at it again, this has been a long journey that I have been on. Now turning 40 and overweight I have come to the conclusion that I have to stick to this. I have joined a gym and I am starting to watch what I eat. Any advice for me would be awesome and I would love to have as many friends that I can on here for support.

I'm looking for a few more active/supportive friends. I'm in my late 40s and fighting to stay fit and healthy. Feel free to add me if you like!

You'll find plenty of support here - and you seem to be making the right first steps to a healthier *you*. Good luck, you can do this :)

If you count calories, weigh your food. Its a real eye opener when you see what a real portion is.

I am also at a point of getting back to it. My advice is to be dilligent at logging and treat your gym visits like a job , just go, some day you'll feel like it some days you won't. Feel free to add me if you like, anyone else too.
