2mile jog 2 mile walk

ok so I jogged 2 miles and I can do a 13 min mile and burn 250 calories but last night I walked 2 miles and it took me a little longer and burned the same amount of calories what gives ?

    You didn't......running burns approximately double the number of calories that walking the same distance does....

    Walking .30 x weight (in lbs) x distance (in miles)

    Running .63 x weight (in lbs) x distance (in miles)

    To burn 250 cal running 2 miles you'd need to weigh approx 200 lbs.

    Don't ""jog"" RUN! Run as hard as you can then walk to catch your breath. Then RUN again as hard as you can. Do that for 2 miles and you will be amazed at the results

    After warming up with a nice steady pace for a couple of miles...
