    For an active female (which it sounds like you are) 1500 is a better baseline. A 1200 baseline is usually for someone who is sedentary. It sounds like you aren't getting enough calories. :) Also when you first change your calories you will stall for a week or so. Your body is adjusting and resetting. See if it helps your headaches and give it a minute to check progress. :) Good luck. Headaches are the worst.
