Mental block or.."panic" weight.

I have reached the same weight over and over, 125# and I automatically think I can not lose anymore and I somehow mentally backslide back up to 130-135 and repeat. I'm completely on game until I see that weight and something snaps and I start going over my calories.... Idk, it's all mental and o can't shake it.

    So maintain at 125

What's your plan to not put on weight

I know about maintenance, it's not really that. It's not that I say "well here I am, I'm done!" It's like o won't let myself drop below that for some reason ?? I've noticed a pattern. I feel the best around 118, but I've been noticing this pattern with 125, and it's not because I'm not eating what I want then losing my mind.

Yup. I can log so great, eat everything I want, be feeling amazing...125 shows up and I just...I'm not sure. Maybe I think subconsciously that I can't get to my goal

Maybe maintenance scares me so I just stay in a pattern of losing

Stop weighing yourself. Assume mentally that you haven't reached 125 pounds and just log accurately like always.

That's an interesting experiment, I actually plan on trying it.

Pick a set time period, such as you won't weigh until Thanksgiving. Put the scale somewhere you can't take it out easily and pretend every morning that you are bouncing between 128 and 130.

I love this idea! I think I will pick Thanksgiving :) I'll update here with how that works.
