Stupid Question

Do you not burn calories when doing strength training? I've been using the weight machines at the gym and I put it under strength training, but it doesn't show any calories being burned.

    No stupid questions.

I personally log my strength training in the cardio section. It's a real general estimate for the calories burned though, so be careful if you're eating back burned calories.

Yeah, go into Cardio and add Strength training. It doesn't add much, though. I get about 180 calories for 45 minutes.
  • So how would you log in your strength training to the cardio section?

An oft-asked question isn't stupid- it's you getting informed and that's RAD.

@Spook_Skywalker gives a good option- personally, I don't track. At all. Kind of freeing, actually.

Type in "strength training." It will pop up.

Just type "Strength Training" in the search bar of cardio.
  • OK, Thanks everyone, I will give that a try :)
