Newbie and from the UK

Hello everyone,

I've been using MFP for a while now and exercising (mainly running) for a year.

I am a little overweight and need to lose about 20lbs. The running has been great but I need to tweak my foods.

Additionally I've been unwell for a while, nothing major, just loads of low level things like asthma, excema, colds etc. so I wanted to start eating in a way that helped me to reach optimal health.

I researched a bit and read an article recently in Runners World magazine about the Paleo diet, and decided to give it a go. I have only just started it, so it's all very new!

I'm based in the UK and would love to hear from 'locals' as many of the recipes use foods that I'm not familiar with in the UK so I'd enjoy swapping info.
