So I'm curious, what are others scale routines? Do you weigh everyday, one a week, once a month? Any one?

Every morning... I'm a data geek, so I like to see how things like time of month, salty meals, etc. affect my weight.

Every morning, but log it in happy scales so I see the over all trend and dong get discouraged.

Every morning. The more data the better in my book because I like to plot stuff and make graphs and what not. Entertaining. I only enter my weight into MFP when I have a sustained loss.

I started off weighing every morning, and i did that for 2 years. I've recently changed to weighing every 3rd morning.

Used to be every morning but I concluded that it was pointless. I just weigh after I put in a good effort with cutting back. The idea is to see if my effort is in line or needs to be more, less. Weighing in all other time is useless, waste of energy and can be detrimental.

Maybe once a month, same time I do bodyfat

Once a week. Otherwise, I think you get too crazed about it.

I weigh myself all the time, mostly because it's interesting to see how the weight fluctuates between morning and night.

But Monday morning is when it counts. That's when I log my results for the week.

I weigh daily upon awakening, naked, immediately after going to the bathroom. It's a part of my daily routine. My scale uploads the information to Trendweight and a few other places without me having to do anything. I take progress photos and check bodyfat % once a month with skinfold calipers.

I like data, numbers, graphs and things, the more the better. :) I also understand that there are going to be fluctuations and it's interesting to try to correlate them with high calorie days, changes in my workout routine, sodium intake, etc. Some people go mental about a 2 pound overnight gain - doesn't bother me in the least as long as the overall trend (as tracked on Trendweight) is downward in the long term. Daily tracking/logging has helped me understand how and why the fluctuations happen and not to worry about them.
