Spine/nerve damage

I used to work out 5 days a week. I had a surgery that "went bad" and damaged my spine and nerves. I am now stuck in bed most days at a young age.
I am gaining weight rapidly due to immobility as well as medications for the nerve damage.
My clothes don't fit me anymore and I know the weight makes things worse in my back.

I really need some ideas on foods to eat that will promote weight loss even though I am not able to move much. Please give me ideas as I am at a loss

Foods do not promote weight loss. Weightloss comes down to being in a calorie deficit, that simple. If you are in a deficit, you will lose weight.

Please get ur Doc to refer you to a nutritionist or Dietician. Since it takes healthy eating to heal..they might not want u dieting on ur own. They might even suggest special vitamins etc. I sure hope you will get better soon. Keep us posted?

Primarily less food. I second the suggestion that your doctor refer you to a dietitian.
