I have struggled with my weight my whole life. At my heaviest 256. I do have kidney failure on one side and lupus. It's been a struggle but back in March i made the decision to make a change. I started weight training with my husband I lost so far 25.6lbs. My body is taking a different shape but I feel so much better. I am stronger then i thought which surprised me. I am looking for some guidance in weight training for weight loss as far as exercise and maybe what i should take out of my diet. Hopefully someone can help God bless.

Hi Alicia,I never did weight training in my life! My husband used to weight train in his 20's so we started together in April. I feel so good sometimes i get sick from my lupus and kidneys but nothing compared Prior to not weight training. This is my main form of weight training as well and i am so happy you replied to me. We have something in common. I was wondering if you can give me some advice regarding weight training. I bench 80lbs with the bar i do 15 reps and 4 sets this is for chest. Triceps I do 50lbs,flies 20lbs, dips, biceps curls i do 45lbs, bicep barbell 20lbs, squats with the bar 80lbs, sumo squats 20lbs, back 20lbs, back with bar 50lbs, leg extender 110lbs, planks 30second 4 sets, is there anything you suggest? I appreciate your help. I want to start doing thigh thrust I think that's what it is called. my current weight is 223.4 I started at 250 but i am stuck now kind of stayed the same weight for two weeks. Any help i appreciate thank you and have a wonderful day. Keep the weight training it's amazing congrats!
