Suggestions on bloating?

One of my biggest issues day to day is the big bloat. I've tried the lemon water cleanse for a week and in the beginning that created a painful amount of gas. I drink various green tea (lemon ginseng, peach, regular, chamomile) and drink plenty of water. I eat a good amount of veggies for lunch and dinner. I cut out dairy and gluten for intolerance. It just seems no matter what I do I'm bloated. I was wondering if others have this problem and what they eat or drink to help?

Plenty of water and maybe a good probiotic. Are you sure it's bloating?0

It's lots of gas so I'm sure it's bloat. I always look skinny in the morning but by lunch I'll look like I've gained like a 4 month pregnancy look. I read that article posted and I do have cauliflower often for lunch so there's that. But I love cauliflower! Idk I had been suffering for a long time with the gluten intolerance before I ever found out that was the culprit so maybe there's just damage there. I'll live though, it's not that serious. It might still just be the food I eat or maybe I could start doing light exercise after meals as I've read that could help.0

Have you seen any good GI doctors. You could have an underlying issue.
Also, cut out cauliflower for a few weeks to see if that alleviates the issue.0 -
If you're bloated every day then you need to see a doctor?0

cool, ya I'll just go to the doc. It never really occurs to me when something isn't just normal for everyone.0

Yes if it isn't normal for you and it persists, good idea to go to the doctor.
I retain water if i eat too much salt. Watermelon works very well for me as a natural diuretic, also celery seed tablets.0 -
I had this problem until I got consistent and started tracking how I felt after meals. I started eating about the same amount of food at about the same time every day. I opted for non-processed food for 80% of my day and generally kept dairy out of my diet. Then I would take notes in MFP after every meal to see how I felt. I learned that packaged tuna made my stomach upset. Often times protein shakes will do that too until I switched to PEScience protein powder. Bottom line, get consistent and start isolating the problem. Cutting too many things out of your diet at once may confuse your body and cause more problems than the original.0
