Breakfast Help?

How do you respond to eating breakfast? For some reason, when I eat breakfast I seem to be drastically hungrier throughout the day? It is often said to eat breakfast to fuel your metabolism. But I can often have coffee with creamer (anywhere from 55-100 calories) in a cup and be full until lunch or 2-3 hours later.
Is it okay for me to not eat breakfast? How does your body respond?

Meal timing does nothing to "fuel your metabolism." You do not have to eat breakfast if it is easier for you to stick to your goals.0 -
I used to not eat breakfast and heard the whole skipping breakfast hurts the metabolism thing and started eating it. I think it depends on what you are eating. If I have a breakfast of carbs without proteins, I get hungry pretty quickly. If I have a combination of carbs and protein, I am good. The protein shake in the morning also keeps me full. This works for me, but you probably need to do what works with your body.0

If I eat breakfast I find myself needing/must have and mid morning snack. I eat a light breakfast before my morning work out, typically oatmeal, steal cute oats, or Kellogg/Jimmy Dean light breakfast sandwich.
They say not eating breakfast puts your body in starvation mode, which then it starts to hang on to every calorie you give it the rest of the day.
Best of luck!0 -

Nah. It takes 48-72 hours to see any negative effects from not eating. Skipping a meal won't put your body into starvation mode. Breakfast *might* give you increased focus and decreased hunger in the mornings. But it might not. Breakfast is one of those things that really is about personal preference.0 -
I usually have a cup of yogurt and a little fruit for breakfast, sometimes eggs and bacon and some V8 juice. I have a couple cups of tea with half and half and stevia when I get to work. My midmorning snack is typically a high fiber crispbread with some cheese (I'm partial to a brand called Dr Kracker), those get me to lunch and with an afternoon snack of nuts I'm good through the day with no hunger or fatigue. Plus I seldom feel hungry post dinner or feel empted to snack late.0
