I am looking for different snack ideas and breakfast/lunch ideas that get close to the 40% carb/30% protein/30% fat numbers.
I think for snacks - probably around 200-300 calories.
And maybe a little higher for meals - 400-500 calories.
I have blood sugar issue so I would like to try to eat smaller snacks/meals more often through the day.

Thanks!!

For meals you need to tell us the kinds of foods you like and more specifically what you are looking for.

For snacks, however, Quest bars or other protein bars, raw veggies (carrot sticks, bell peppers, celery, snap peas, etc.), greek yogurt, apple slices, a protein shake, etc.

I dont really have more info since i dont know what you like!

    I'm pretty flexible - I like:
protein-tuna, eggs, cheese, greek yogurt, cottage cheese, peanut butter, deli turkey (prefer low sodium though)
I like most types of meats, but will probably stick to protein items that are easier to take on the go through the day.
Carbs - breads, rice, crackers-I like oatmeal, but having a difficult time keeping carbs down with using just 1/2 c. dry oats
veggies - chopped salads - ie Dole, mushrooms, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, sometimes broccoli, cauliflower

I am open to other foods/combos beyond what is listed above.

What is the total amount of calories you can have per day, and what is your ideal body weight? Many say to eat [0.8 x ideal body weight] for protein to help reduce muscle loss. Beyond that, carbs and fats are up to you.
