Hi, So... I like to work out. I lift heavy, I do Pilates, Yoga, and my all time fav for cardio is Zumba. But 2 yrs ago that changed. I was in a car wreck and damaged my left shoulder, left arm and left hand and wrist. Lifting got hard, yoga got hard but I pushed through. 10 weeks ago I got plantar fasciitis in my right foot and am fight desperately not to have the left foot follow suit. The wrist injury and the PF plague me like no other. I am discontinuing everything until the PF heals but I can't sit and do nothing. I had to become flexible and work out in other ways, like swimming, the bike or elliptical for cardio and light weight high reps. I guess what I'm saying is don't give up or get discouraged with injuries. Follow the doctor's orders with your goals in mind and be flexible in adjusting what you need to in order To stay on track. How do you deal with injuries?

ibuprofen and IcyHot. I like to run, but I have permanent nerve damage in my right heel, and a replaced tendon on the same leg. I cant feel anything on my heel; so my right foot slaps when I run. I have seen doctors and specialists. There is nothing they can do. So I just IcyHot my knee, if needed, and take ibuprofen, recommended by the doctors, for the foot.

I also cut down on running to 2 days a week to keep from causing anymore damage.

Lastly good job coming back from an injury and trying to find other ways to work out.
