Step tracker & weighing in

Any advice on step trackers?
I've been using the one on my app & curious to know how accurate it actually is?
And how often should you weigh yourself?
I get too excited & want to weigh myself every other day

I weigh myself every other day and then on the days I don't weigh I take my measurements. It keeps me from obsessing over it too much. Whatever works for you is what you should do. I find my measurements to be a little more accurate then the scale.

its typically believed trackers with heart rate monitors are better than those without...YMMV. as far as weighing...there is no right answer. this is your journey, do what you want. don't stress it.

A tracker needs to be able to accomodate what you need tracking. For example, Heart Rate, GPS capability, steps, sleep, calories in/out, pair with MFP, etc.

Also there will be what fits in your budget. And depending on the price point, will be what type of functionality you will get. I have had Fitbit and Garmin.. I am a Garmin person by far.

As far as weighing, it is essential for me to weigh daily.. it keeps accountable, it keeps me aware of dietary changes or any swings/fluctuations that I need to pay attention to. But I do not record that weight except weekly. I also do a 28 day weight trend app that helps streamline all this fluctuations stuff.

To me its not obsessive as long as you use it as a tool and not the "end all" device that determines sucess or failure.
