HERE I GO AGAIN!!!!!!!!!..........

Again.. and again... and again.. and everytime I have failed. Except this time I don't have a choice! I went to a doctor appt on 7/3 and was told that my health is so bad that if I don't take the steps now then it will be a miracle if I live to see my 40th birthday in December. So she put me on the ZONE diet and told me to exercise. I see her again 8/14/2013 and was told that I had better show some type of improvement. My weight is ridiculous, my B/P is really high, and my exercise level is next to none. I was given 1 week to get my ZONE book, read thru it, and start a plan.

Fast forward to today: I joined a gym! I love the place I joined and go every day almost. I really only walk on the treadmill for now but am hoping to work my way up slowly. I have started the zone diet and am journaling everything that she told me to. I told her I use this fitness pal app but she said that it isn't about my calories but staying in the zone so i have to handwrite in a journal. i have lost 4 pounds since 7/3. When I go back in August I have to take my journal and she is going to go thru everything with me. Its a new start and even though I have been here before I wasn't scared like I am now. Baby steps baby steps and baby steps. I don't want to die, have a heart attack, or stroke before turning 40!

    That is awesome, well done for making the choice. I'm right there with you. Ridiculous BP, high cholesterol, zilch.. I started twice before, but had to stop for a few surgeries and medical emergencies. They're under control now, so here I go!
