Like any other form of weight training, the weight you use should be appropriate for you. Much of the free stuff you get from the internet/YouTube is worth exactly what you pay for it. If you can afford $30 you might find Kettlebell Goddess to your liking. Andrea DuCane is a quality instructor.2

Yesss!!! love them..
The good old full KB swing is one of my favorites but I also do sumo squats, sumo high pull (bring KB up to your chin with your elbows up) one arm snatches etc etc.
In terms of weight, start light so you can get the technique, if you have never done a KB swing it might feel pretty weird.. I think I started at like 6kg and now I do 20kg swings?1 -
I do:-) I use 18lb for most of the single arm movements, 26lb for moderate swings, goblet squats, and single leg deadlifts, and 35lb for heavier days. One of my goals is to get a 35lb Turkish get up.
I will second Andrea DuCane's video. It is exellent. I also like Lauren Brooks. She has a couple of free workouts on YouTube and a bunch of workout videos.1
