Bloating...

Hi
I am a 167cm, 63kg woman who is (mostly) happy with her current figure...BUT most days I have awful stomach bloating by the end of the day
In the morning my tummy is extremely flat (sometimes even with abs)... However by some nights it is very big (especially up top where the actual stomach is)
I have always had this problem but I'm not sure what causes it... I never feel sick after eating any types of food so might not be an intolerance I'm not sure!
Anyone else have this problem and how do you ease bloating?

Have you recently made a huge dietary change in the kinds of foods you eat? If you are suddenly eating more fruits and vegetables, or a lot more red meat, you're probably producing a whole lot of gas. Even if you're not passing it during the day, it probably works its way out while you're sleeping, which would explain why you have a flat tummy in the morning.1

This is very very common with food allergies. The first place to experiment is dairy and then gluten. You can get an ELISA test done or you can do an elimination diet. To self test it you have to remove the potential offender ENTIRELY fir 30 days. Then you eat that food (just mixed into your regular diet) for three days straight and observe. You're looking to see 1) does the bloating go away when you remove the food and 2) what happens when you add it back in? A lot of times you won't catch an allergy until you've done the 30 day elimination (or blood tested). Btw, regular allergy tests done by most doctors are notoriously inaccurate. We have found the only one that was accurate is the ELISA.0

Take into consideration the days eating of course, perhaps what you are eating (anything different? carbs or number of carbs, certain foods like diary, etc.?.) and if female hormones are at bay.
My stomach is always flat in the a.m. and pudgy at night. Always been that way.
If yours is really bad (but you say its always been that way) I assume no pain associated with it. You can go through your diary and pick foods that you think might be causing this. Perhaps do the elimination thing. I just deal with mine.0 -
White bread - rice - and dairy bloat me something awful.
A lot of people have a larger abdomen at the end of the day but you may suffer from a food allergy/reaction.
Keep symptoms in the notes on the bottom of your diary for tracking any possible culprits.
Maybe elimination of a few things will give you more insight.0 -
Maybe add ginger to your day. One of the benefits of ginger is anti bloating.1
