Hi
Im a 33 year old woman. I sustained a back injury a year ago and have successfully gained 50+ lbs of excess wobble. Im now 4 weeks post op (discectomy) and back pain is significantly better however my surgeon has advised me that unless I get myself back within a healthy weight range I risk it recurring and more surgery.
The exercise I am allowed to do is very limited (no lifting, bending, twisting, stretching, running etc) so I'm mainly cycling (although I have a lot of muscle wastage to my right leg) and trying to stick religiously to my 1200 calorie diet.
It's so hard, I would love to meet some people in a similar situation for mutual support and motivation.
