Does it matter whether you run during the day or at night?

I always run at 10:00 pm at night because of my work schedule, and I usually go to bed around 1:00, I was wondering if theres any difference between running in the morning than running at night because I never see anyone else running at night but always see people running at the break of dawn. I heard you have more energy throughout the day but is there any other (physical, nutritional, etc.) difference?

i sure as heck don't know of any differences. i can't recall ever hearing of anything. i think most people run in the early morning so they can get it out of their way and won't have to worry about it later on. plus it's usually cooler and it's safer since the sun's in the process of coming up.0

There are some slight performance differences throughout each individuals circadian rhythms.
but unless your training for a specific event, or trying to perform at a specific level, when you train (as long as you do it haha) doesn't matter.0
