My Fitbit won't work with MyFitnessPal?

I've set it all up correctly and food is being logged and going through to my Fitbit but my exercise isn't going through to MyFitnessPal? How is this resolved, there's not much info online

1st sync the fitbit app on your phone to your my fitness pal app where to find this on the app I don't know as I use Garmin but I know its there and probably under your settings somewhere. Next you have to go onto the desktop version of my fitness pal on a computer rather than the app then go to settings then diary setting then select enable negative calorie adjustments for you activity tracker device (just a tick box thingy half way down the page). This part will allow my fitness pal to adjust cals up or down based on your movement and exercise for the day and add the exercise calories :) xxx

It won't add anything your did before you have enabled the calorie adjustment on my fitness pal. Go for a walk if you can and see if it updates then xxx
