The guided setup gave you a calorie goal.

Macros (protein, carbs, and fat) are based on percentages of that calorie goal. The default macro split is 50% carbs, 20% protein, and 30% fat.

Let's say that MFP gave you a calorie goal of 1500. 20% of 1500 is 300 calories. Each gram of protein has 4 calories. Therefore, you would be given a protein goal of 75 grams. 1500 times 0.2 divided by 4 equals 75.

Ok but why does today say 133 grams. Each day it says something different for a goal

When you add exercise calories, that changes your calorie goal. Since it's calculated from percentage of calories, a higher calorie amount will result in a higher macro amount.

1500 would give 75 grams of protein if you do have it set at 20% for protein.

    1800 would be 90 g.

    2100 would be 105 g.

Do you know the info for carbs? I'm at 1500 Cal roughly. So if I'm trying to stay at 1500 Cal I should just try to get to 75 grams but not over

If you check your daily macro goals before you add any exercise, you'll see what your goals are without added exercise calories.

The MFP default for carbs is 50% so 1500 times 0.5 divided by 4 (since carbs have 4 calories per gram) would put you at a carb goal of 187.5 which rounds up to 188 grams.

Fat has 9 calories per gram and the MFP default is 30% so a 1500 calorie goal would put you at 50 grams of fat.
