Away from home

Hi everyone

So I find myself sat in Canberra literally the other side of the planet from friends and family. The people that would normally spur me on to achieve my goals (and stay on track more importantly). I am interested how others go about maintaining a healthy existence when subjected to living out of a suitcase in soulless hotels. The boredom is a killer. Yes, I can do a workout - check. Yes, I can avoid the bar - check. But once the initial "I will be good I promise" phase has passed and jet lag means that a workout is a chore and energy levels are diluted. What then? Plus - Canberra is dull - I mean wow dull.

So I went for a long walk yesterday (22 miles) every 1/4 mile I did either 15 BW squats/20 push ups/20 lunges. Felt exhausted at the end but also so good! Got some odd looks but who gives a *kitten*
