Heart rate zones for weight loss

I know my heart rate zones for fat burn and cardio but just wondering if I do a workout, but do not reach my fat burn heart rate or higher, do I not lose weight or burn fat? I work out seven days a week and stay within my calories but haven't lost weight in the last past two weeks or longer. Someone just suggested HIIT, but getting totally discouraged. Thanks for any help or suggestions provided!

Forget about heart rate zones, they are inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. It's about overall calories burnt vs eaten, as long as you're eating less than you burn you will lose weight.4

Heart rate zones for fat loss are a lie
There are training zones but no fat loss zone
Just refocus on logging food accurately by weight and double checking every food and give it 6-8 weeks3 -
If I used zones for fat loss I would still be trying to lose fat, from two years ago.. That zone stuff is really a bunch of hogwash.. lol
Concentrate on your diet and calorie deficit and use your exercise to help you meet your calorie deficit and moreover to help you get fit and strong and when weight loss goal achieved, help you maintain weight loss.1 -
Although you burn a higher percentage of fat at lower exercise intensities you burn more calories at higher intensities and although lower percentage the amount of fat burned could even be higher.
But burning fat to meet your body's energy needs is a totally normal part of daily life (even while sleeping!) and doesn't need a certain HR zone.
Heart rate zones are all about your training needs not fat loss - your calorie deficit over days/weeks/months is by far the biggest factor. If you aren't losing weight over an extended period what HR zone you exercise in is the LAST thing to look at. Would suggest looking at your food intake first.3 -

Hi girl, in my experience, a bit of interval training to get your heart rate up in short periods does me good. I feel more awakened physically, have more energy and a great mood afterwards.
But it's cruicial that you take into account your personal limites. A session with some dynamics have to make you feel good and refreshned afterwards. If you feel discouraged and worn out, aim for something lighter.
If you don't feel good about your training, you will have a uncomfortable time and feel tempted to quit. So make it joyful, something to look forward to. For my part, it helps to listening to my favorite music and chose an environement that I feel comfortable about.
Getting out to train in fresh air is great if you are mainly indoors. A gym can be good if it has a positive upbeat atmosphere and the weather outside is discouraging you

I was told to try HIIT. I think I will! I generally like to exercise outdoors but that is just for brisk walks. I get my best HIIT in the gym. Thanks for your advice. I am definitely going to try it!!0
